Remote – Ontario  

Shift

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Key Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required. College and/or University Degree in Business Administration is an asset.
  • CCS Certificate is required
  • Minimum five (5) years Customs Brokerage experience including two (2) years in a consulting, regulatory or similar professional services capacity
  • Strong working knowledge of CBSA and PGA import requirements.
  • CTCS and/or Professional Designation is an asset 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products – command of Outlook, Word and Excel is required. Knowledge of ITMr4 an asset
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required. 
  • Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is required. 
Description of Role

The Regulatory Analyst is the go-to subject matter expert responsible for providing timely and accurate advice to a growing operations department and client base. A strong sense of ownership and pride over principal duties is required. This role continually provides opportunities to work independently and collaboratively to achieve entire perspective results. 

  • Answer incoming inquiries from clients 
  • Review and process post entry adjustments
  • Research and respond to requests for complex information in a professional manner. 
  • Analyze and interpret information received from clients or internal team members. 
  • Perform complex classification for goods in all industries. 
  • Analyze the BOM (Bill of Materials) and prepare the CUSMA and other free trade agreements. 
  • Conduct analysis on client tariff database and update accordingly
  • Liaise with appropriate government departments as required
  • Prioritize and complete work according to project demands, customs requirements and Willson standards 
  • Participate fully with other team members in the day-to-day operation of the team, including setting priorities, organizing and scheduling work, coordinating with others, problem solving and decision making,
  • Occasional travel to our US HQ may be required to support system and/or product launches.
