US Customs has been running maintenance on their ACE system every Saturday night between 10:00 pm and 4:00 am Sunday morning.  The trade community has been advised to ‘plan accordingly’ for these outages. Soon, the legacy system will be turned off and ACE will be the only transmission method available for clearances.  Please advise your carrier to schedule their crossing around this scheduled system downtime to prevent delays at the border.
