Invitation: Webinars for Vaping Industry on Regulatory Requirements under the CCPSA
On May 23, 2018, Bill S-5 (An Act to amend the Tobacco Act and the Non-smokers’ Health Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts) received Royal Assent. This means that vaping products and vaping liquids are now subject to several pieces of legislation including:
– the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (TVPA);
– the Food and Drugs Act (FDA); and
– the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).
The Consumer Product Safety Program will be holding webinars specifically for the manufacturers, distributors, marketers and retailers of vaping products. Our objective is to explain how you are impacted by the CCPSA and share your regulatory responsibilities.
JUNE 27, 2018 – 10:00 HRS (French session)
JUNE 28, 2018 – 10:00 HRS (English session)
Please send an email to hc.ccpsa-lcspc@canada.ca
