USITC Continues Softwood Lumber Investigation

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) determined that there is a ‘reasonable indication’ that US industry is ‘materially injured’ by the imports of softwood lumber products from Canada.  As a result of this determination, the US Department of Commerce will continue to conduct anti-dumping (ADD) and counter veiling duty (CVD) investigations.  The preliminary CVD determination will be made on February 20th, 2017, with the ADD preliminary determination following on May 4th, 2017.
