USDA Streamlines Online Reference Materials

CSMS #52506203 announced that The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has developed a new database called “Agricultural Commodity Import Requirements” (ACIR).

This will eliminate the paper manuals and consolidate the following reference materials:

  • Fruit and Vegetable Import Requirements (FAVIR) database
  • Cut Flowers and Greenery Manual
  • Seeds Not for Planting Manual
  • Miscellaneous Processed Products Manual

APHIS also created online training videos for the new website to assist the trade.

If you import USDA regulated commodities, please notify staff of the new reference materials available.
