The US Department of Agriculture issued a press release announcing the release of fact sheets by the Foreign Agricultural Service and by the US State. The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) would cause Japan’s beef tariff to fall dramatically, while Canada would eliminate tariffs on whey. Canada would also expand tariff quotas for cheese, milk and butter. If the TPP is adopted, it will break down trade barriers around the world.
