US Trade Commission makes Negative Determination on Mechanical Transfer Drive Components

Last week the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) determined that the import of iron mechanical drive shaft components from China and Canada do not materially injure the US manufacturing sector.  They have also determined that the manufacturing of these components are not subsidized by the foreign governments, therefore, anti-dumping and countervailing duty will not be assessed.  This final ruling is good news for companies that export or import these goods into the United States.
