US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has shut down 37,479 websites in 27 countries for illegally selling counterfeit goods online. This yearlong effort was collaboration between Homeland Security Investigations Team (HIS) and ICE. This effort shut down websites that sold apparel, handbags, footwear, and even personal care products.
