As Valentine’s Day approaches, US Customs Agriculture Specialists are serving as the front line in protecting the United States Customs territory from plant pests and animal diseases. The southern border prohibits many flowers that are not prohibited along the northern border.  These flowers include chrysanthemums and gladiolas, as they are known to be hosts for many pests.
