US Customs issued a CSMS message this week updating their enforcement of ISF non-compliance.  For ships sailing after June 30th, ports will no longer be required to send requests for liquidated damages for late filing.  There is no change to cargo holds for ISF non-compliance, however ports may hold cargo instead of (or in addition to) initiating LD claims.  The ‘three strikes’ approach to enforcement will also end.
