US Customs issued an update for August and September on their work as it relates to the recent changes in Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duty enforcement. Â This update includes a recap of the interim final rule on investigations stemming from AD/CVD related allegations. Â The update also includes a vignette on a recent visit CBP had to a US manufacturer in Georgia that has been directly impacted by an increase in imports in their sector.
Additionally, this manufacturer discussed laboratory procedures that would help CBP determine the origin of their commodity for future investigations.
