US Customs extends FCC 740 Waiver

In a CSMS message this week, US Customs and Border Protection has announced that the temporary suspension of the FCC 740 form will continue.  In July of 2016, CBP placed a temporary waiver on the requirement for the FCC 740 form for radio frequency emitting products that was set to expire on December 31st, 2016.  Now, that waiver period has been extended until the Federal Communications Commission completes its rulemaking on the issue.
