The final six US Customs Centers for excellence and Expertise (CEE) opened on March 23rd, 2016. These centers will be handling post-release activities based on the industry. The final six are: Automotive and Aerospace, Agriculture and Prepared Products, Base Metals, Consumer Products and Mass Merchandising, Industrial and Manufacturing Materials, and Machinery. These new centers join the existing CEE’s for Apparel, Footwear and Textiles, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals, and Petroleum and Minerals.
