US Customs and Border Protection to begin full ISF enforcement

Beginning May 14th 2015, local ports will no longer need to go through headquarters before pursuing liquidated damages. Ports will also not be required to issue warnings prior to the issuance of liquidated damages. This change will cap the year-long strategy meant to increase the focus on the most serious offenders. The majority of the violations are for late ISF filing.
