The implementing regulations covers the interpretation, application, and administration of the program for shipments entering the United States. Whereas the rules of origin document covers the rules in which are used to determine eligibility of products for duty free treatment under the USMCA.
NAFTA Certificates will expire on June 30th, 2020. Please be sure to obtain the new USMCA form through your client portal and provide it to service@willsonintl.com.
The deadline for the USMCA/CUSMA Certificate of Origin form is June 30th, 2020. Forms received after that date may not receive preferential treatment and duty will be assessed. Please note that CBP will not issue refunds for Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) on post importation refund claims.
