Two individuals, one of Texas and the other a resident of New Jersey, have settled the lawsuit brought against them by the United States Federal Government alleging that they engaged in a scheme to evade customs duty on imports of aluminum extrusions from the People’s Republic of China. This massive sum illustrates the increased commitment to enforcement of duties due on goods subject to ADD.
