System Issue with Customs Notice 20-38 Withdrawal of Entitlement to the Canada–European Union Tariff (CEUT) Tariff Treatment for Goods Originating from the United Kingdom

CBSA has identified a system error that triggers rejects when qualifying UK INTRANSIT goods are claimed as TT 31. (see CN 20-38)

On an interim basis CBS recommends that MFN (TT)2) and OIC (20-1135) being entered on the B3 customs document until the issue is resolved. (see CN 20-39)

Use of the OIC will allow for the same duties’ relief under CEUT TT 31.
