The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a Final Rule that Shrimp and Abalone Will Require SIMP Info Starting December 31st, 2018. The new government spending bill required that Shrimp and Abalone be added to the Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP) by the end of the year. The tariff classifications impacted are listed in the Federal Register notice.
