Please be advised that the Export Information for China has been modified. The content remains generally the same, with the exception that:
– the use of sulphites is not currently approved for use in crustaceans destined for China
These changes are to be implemented immediately. Â The updated information is available on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.
Each shipment of fish and seafood products exported to China must be accompanied by a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) certificate. Export certificates may only be issued for product processed or stored in establishments that appear on the List of Canadian establishments approved for export to the People’s Republic of China.
