The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has modified the import policy “ Requirements for Small Ruminants Imported From the United States for Breeding, Domestic or Captive Purposes -TAHD-DSAT-IE-2007-5-8” to include Annex III which offers options to importers to withdraw from the Scrapie Flock Certification Program (SFCP) pending CFIA’s case by case review.
