The following is provided by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
A message was recently sent to remind Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licence holders within the fish and seafood sector to complete/update their Additional Establishment Information (AEI) before this year ‘s deadline of December 31, 2020.
This information is being used by the Establishment-based Risk Assessment model (ERA) model to group domestic food establishments in seven risk categories (Category 1 being the highest risk and Category 7 being the lowest risk).
All information provided by regulated parties before this year ‘s deadline will be included in the ERA results generated in April 2021.
