Protocol for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)’s Sharing of Information

A new protocol has been developed that provides an understanding of the type of information that can be shared by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) with other government departments, regulated parties, third parties, and the public during food safety investigations and recalls. It describes how this information is shared and outlines the type of information that the CFIA is obligated to protect.

This protocol is available on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.
