Preliminary anti-dumping duty determination – Wire Rod

On September 4, 2024 the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), pursuant to subsection 41(1)(b) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), made a final determination of dumping with respect to wire rod from the People’s Republic of China (China), the Arab Republic of Egypt (Egypt) and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam).

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is continuing its inquiry into the question of injury to the domestic industry and will make a finding by October 4, 2024.
