A major online retailer of coloured contact lenses plead guilty last week to importing mis-branded contact lenses and selling them over the internet without prescriptions. Â The plea agreement stated that many of the lenses were not authorized by the FDA for sale in the United States. Â Some of the lenses tested were found to be contaminated with bacteria.
