Normal Trade Relations Suspended between U.S., Russia, Belarus

U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued CSMS #51575437 providing guidance to the trade regarding H.R. 7108. This law entitled the “Suspending Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus Act” has made all goods from the Russian Federation and of the Republic of Belarus subject to Column 2 duty rates Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).

This law will increase the rates of duty effective April 9th, 2022.
