“Microbead Free Waters Act of 2015” Signed into Law

Following up on our previous article covering this legislation, the “Microbead Free Waters Act of 2015” was signed into law this week. .” This Act defines “plastic microbeads” as any solid particle less than five (5) millimeters that is intended to exfoliate or cleanse the human body. The manufacturing ban begins July 1st, 2017 and the commerce ban begins July 1st, 2018.
