Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures Chapter 11 – United States
Canada is permitting the importation of beef meat products from certain EU member states. Please refer to section Q.2.2 of annex Q – US for detailed requirements applicable to determine the eligibility of imported products. Please note that a new paragraph has been included in section 11.7.3.2.2.2 on the USA to highlight that specific requirements apply to imported products and that section Q.2.2 of Annex Q – US has been updated to specify that the current approval for meat imported from Denmark applies only to pork.  The changes have been made in the Meat e-Certification System.
Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures Chapter 11 (Section 11.7.3) – EU
Subsections 11.7.3.5 (marking and beef labelling requirements) and 11.7.3.6 (decontamination and animal welfare requirements) have been updated.  The changes have been made in the Meat e-Certification System.
