The US International Trade Commission (USITC) will begin to investigate whether a patent on sliding, resealable plastic bags was infringed upon by foreign imports. No decision has been made on the merits of the case, but now an evidentiary hearing will be scheduled. After the investigation has been instituted, the USITC will set a target date for completion.
