International Trade Commission Votes to Continue Hot-Rolled Steel Investigation

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) voted to continue their investigation into hot-rolled steel. They have determined that there is a “reasonable indication” that US industry has been materially injured by hot-rolled steel flat products from Australia, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Turkey, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The allegation of government subsidies in Brazil, Korea, and Turkey may result in counter veiling duty cases as well.
