Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) draft guidance issued this week by the FDA

This week, the FDA issued two draft guidance documents to assist industry in the implementation of the new FSMA guidelines.  One draft covers the rule for the Preventative Controls for Animal Food and the other addresses definition of ‘Farm’ under the FSMA.  These documents are intended to assist both US and foreign companies with the requirements.
