Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada announced key changes to the Cabinet including:
• Anita Anand moves to Transport and Internal Trade, bringing her experience from previous cabinet roles to this crucial economic portfolio.
• Gary Anandasangaree expands his responsibilities as Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs, adding oversight of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency to his existing Indigenous relations role.
• Steven MacKinnon becomes Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, taking on the consolidated labor and workforce development portfolio.
• Ginette Petitpas Taylor assumes the role of President of the Treasury Board, overseeing government spending and administration.
