ITACS (Import Trade Auxiliary Communication System) is an U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) online resource that provides the importers the ability to:
- Check the status of FDA- regulated entries
- Submit entry documentation electronically
- Electronically submit the location of goods availability for FDA exam
- Check the estimated laboratory analysis completion date for sampled lines
ITACS can be accessed only through Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
This will help food exporters and importers with receiving status updates, but also expedited review of supplementary documentation.
