This Customs Notice is to advise that the validity period of Customs Notice 21-14, Temporary amendments to the requirements for requesting a 30-day extension to the 90-day period to submit certain corrections following a CBSA trade compliance final verification report, has been extended to November 20, 2021.
The amendments to the requirements for requesting a 30-day extension are temporary measures, and CBSA recognizes that some importers may need an additional 30 days to process corrections to incorrect declarations as a result of administrative and system challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
