Department of Homeland Security Spring regulatory Agenda Includes ISF Rulemaking

The final rule titled, “Importer Security Filing and Additional Carrier Requirements” implements the provisions of section 203 of the Security and Accountability for Every Port Act of 2006. This finalizes the entire interim final rule (Federal Register 73 FR 71730) and most of the provisions with the exception of the six data elements that were identified as areas of possible concern.
