The Department of Commerce is seeking comment on the proposal to extend the steel licensing program until March of 2022.  Steel licensing is part of SIMA (Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis) which ensures the Department of Commerce’s ability to track and monitor the trade of steel imports into the United States.
