The investigation into the dumping of hot-rolled steel being dumped into the US market has begun. The investigation is reviewing the applicability for countervailing duty and antidumping duty on flat products from Brazil, South Korea, and Turkey. An ADD only investigation is being conducted on flat rolled products from Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The preliminary determination will be issued on September 25th.
