The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determined that countervailable subsidies were provided to producers and exporters of certain glass containers from the People’s Republic of China for the period of investigation of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018. Therefore, additional duties ranging from 22.6% to 315.73% will be assessed on these products in addition to the regular duty rates and the China 301 tariffs.
