The Ukraine Goods Remission Order will no longer be available on June 9, 2023, by the condition stipulated in the order:
Remission is granted if:
(a) the goods are imported during the period beginning on the day on which this Order comes into force and ending on the first anniversary of that day; “
That condition is also listed in the Customs Notice 22-12:
“Remission is granted of the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff in respect of goods that originate in Ukraine for one year from the date of registration (June 9, 2022).”
Effective June 9, 2023 the prescribed duty rates will apply.
