CBSA has confirmed that there is no requirement to provide proof of CPTPP ( Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership) origin for commercial goods with an estimated value of less than CDN $1,600.

January 3, 2019 Update: For commercial goods where the certification of origin is waived, the requirement is a signed statement completed by the importer, exporter or producer, stating that the good is a CPTPP originating good.
