Court of International Trade rules on Tableware Sets

On June 17th, The Court of International Trade (CIT) ruled that table ware must be the same color, shape, and decoration to be classified in sets. This ruling relies on Additional US Note 6 in Chapter 69 which states, “sold or offered for sale in the same pattern.”  “In the same pattern” has been upheld to mean in coordinated shapes, colors, and decoration.
