Concrete Reinforcing Bar – Preliminary Determination of Injury

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal, (CITT) has conducted a preliminary injury inquiry respecting the dumping of hot-rolled deformed steel concrete reinforcing bar in straight lengths or coils, commonly identified as rebar, in various diameters up to and including 56.4 millimetres, in various finishes, excluding plain round bar and fabricated rebar products, originating in or exported from the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation, has caused or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

The preliminary injury inquiry follows notification that the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an investigation into the dumping of the goods indicated above.
