The Computer Technology Industry Associations (CompTIA) issued a press release in support of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Elizabeth Hyman, Executive Vice President of the group stated, “This Agreement will facilitate access to expanded markets for our members, as well as all U.S. technology companies, while boosting the U.S. economy and increasing American jobs… The TPP takes an important step in promoting strong and balanced copyright and related rights protection.†The TPP is clearly gathering support within US industry groups.
