CITES issues recommendations on Endangered Species Trade Controls

This week, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species issued their recommendations for amendments to the CITES appendices.   These appendices dictate the level of regulation imposed on the trade of goods containing particular animals.  On the northern border, this typically is encountered in the movement of taxidermy, whether for sale or the movement of personal goods across the border.  Of note on this list of proposals, is the changing of regulation on the movement of Bison and Peregrine Falcons.
