There is never a dull moment in the U.S./China trade war. On Wednesday night, President Trump tweeted that the U.S. will delay the duty increase on List 1, List 2, and List 3. This increase from 25 percent to 30 percent was scheduled for October 1st but has now been delayed until October 15th.
List 4a became effective on September 1st at a rate of 15 percent. List 4b is scheduled to go into effect at a rate of 15 percent on December 15th, 2019.
We will continue to monitor the situation.
