The following have been updated on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.

Export requirements under section 11.7.3, Annex W – United States of the Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), have been updated

Establishment 590 added (2016-03-29)

Species and processing category information of establishments eligible to export to the United States:

Establishment 14C: add code 03H (heat treated but not fully cooked- not shelf stable) and remove code 03I (products with secondary inhibitors- not shelf stable) for pork.

Establishment 148: add codes 03G (fully cooked-not shelf stable) for beef, chicken and turkey, 03F (heat treated- shelf stable), 03H (heat treated but not fully cooked- not shelf stable) and 03I (products with secondary inhibitors – not shelf stable) for pork.

Establishment 396: add codes 03B (raw product-not intact), 03C (raw product-intact) and 03G (fully cooked-not shelf stable) for beef, pork and poultry.

Establishment 413: add code 03C (raw product-intact) for beef.

Establishment 445: add codes 03G (fully cooked-not shelf stable) and 03H (heat treated but not fully cooked- not shelf stable) for pork

Establishment 590 add code 03H (heat treated but not fully cooked- not shelf stable) for chicken.

List of Establishments approved to export meat to Mexico in Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), has been revised on April 7, 2016

Sweden has introduced additional text (RED in Colour) for OMICs used for beef and pork meat

The purpose of this additional text is for traceability purposes for Sweden. (RDIMS  7952393 and 7952370).  There is no other change in the information contained in the certificates. These will be filled out the same as any other previous EU TRACES certificate for beef and pork meat.
