CFIA – Meat and Fish Updates

The following have been updated on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.

List of Establishments approved to export meat to Ukraine in Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), has been revised with the following information:

Establishments 068, 199, 225, 456, 508, 604, 796: add (2016-07-05), Pork products Establishments 96, 225, 431, 466, 748: add (2016-07-05), Beef products

Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), United States –Section 11.7.3 has been updated

Annexes A and A-1 to A-11 have been added, annexes C, D, H, I, J, L, N, P, T and W-1 have been updated, annex L-2, L-5 and L-7 have been removed

Export requirements under section 11.7.3 – European Union of the Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), have been updated with the following information:

Subsections 11.7.3.2 to 11.7.3.6, Annex M and Annex R have been updated.
Introducing Annex E – Swine Information Document (SID).
Annex O has been eliminated and ***Annex J*** of the Introduction will need to be used henceforth.

Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), Guatemala –Section 11.7.3 has been updated.  Import prohibitions for poultry meat from Saskatchewan has been removed

Web page for “Canadian Certified Shellfish Dealers and List of Leases Approved to Export Raw Oyster Products to Japan” has been updated.
