The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated the Guide for preparing an export control plan. The content of the updated guidance is not significantly different from the original. Differences include:
- a change in the name of Export Certification Control Program Plan (ECCP) to Export Control Plan (ECP)
- updates to the text and format to align with the Food Export Control Policy
- the addition of more examples to assist industry in developing their plans, and
- clarification of expectations for an exporter’s ECP
