The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is continuing its investigation into an avian influenza situation near St. Catharines, Ontario.
There remains one single premises confirmed to be infected with avian influenza, which is a commercial duck farm. Â The Agency has established an Avian Influenza Control Zone that covers a 3 km boundary from this farm. Â All other premises located within this zone, as well as other high risk-contact premises have been placed under quarantine.
