Consultations on new IPPC phytosanitary measures open now until September 30, 2017
Do you have any thoughts on how the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) can better protect our plant resource base against the introduction and spread of new plant pests? Â Now is your chance to let us know.
Each year, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) conducts consultations on draft International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs). Â As the Canadian representative to the IPPC, the CFIA is responsible for gathering and submitting comments on behalf of all Canadians.
Let us know any thoughts you have on this year’s proposed ISPMs, available on our website under Canada’s role in international plant protection.
