Certain upholstered domestic seating (Anti-Dumping Duty Update)

On August 03, 2021 the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) terminated the subsidy investigation in respect of certain upholstered domestic seating for certain exporters from China and Vietnam, due to no subsidy or insignificant amounts of subsidy.

The CBSA has concluded its review into the dumping and subsidizing of certain upholstered domestic seating from China and Vietnam, concerning exporters for which the review has not been terminated.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) is continuing its inquiry and is expected to issue a decision by September 02, 2021.

Provisional duties will continue to apply until a decision has been made by the CITT.
